There’s something wonderfully British about a summer garden party. The sun is shining, ok the garden might be looking a little parched, but your friends and family are gathered together and there’s usually a chilled drink in hand.
So, with this in mind, we’ve created two garden-party cocktails for you to serve: one showcasing the gorgeous botanical character of our scrumptious Soulmate Gin, and the other celebrating the silky smoothness of our Soulmate Vodka. Both guarenteed to quech your thirst on the hottest of summer days!

The Soulmate Summer Garden
Light, fresh and beautifully botanical, this is a cocktail designed to let the character of Soulmate Gin shimmer. It’s a cocktail that feels equally at home on a garden table, at a summer barbecue or simply enjoyed with your soulmate.
You’ll need:
- 50ml Soulmate Gin
- 20ml elderflower cordial
- 15ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
- Premium tonic water
- Plenty of ice
- Fresh mint
- A few slices of cucumber
- Lemon wheel, to garnish
How to make it:
Fill a large gin glass with plenty of ice.
Add 50ml Soulmate Gin, followed by the elderflower cordial and fresh lemon juice.
Give everything a gentle stir, then top with premium tonic water.
Add a couple of slices of cucumber, a sprig of fresh mint and a lemon wheel.
Give it one final gentle stir and serve.
Our tip: Make a jug of the gin, elderflower and lemon mixture ahead of time, then add tonic just before serving. Perfect when you’re entertaining.
The Soulmate Summer Crush
To showcase our fabulous vodka we wanted a bright cocktail, something fruity and incredibly easy to make and enjoy. A wonderfully refreshing summer cocktail with a little sweetness from the raspberries, a zing of fresh lemon and the clean, silky smooth finish of Soulmate Vodka. It’s colourful, uncomplicated and guaranteed to look beautiful on a summer drinks table.
You’ll need:
- 50ml Soulmate Vodka
- 20ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 15ml raspberry syrup or raspberry cordial
- 50ml cloudy lemonade
- A handful of fresh raspberries
- Fresh mint
- Plenty of ice
- Lemon slice, to garnish
How to make it:
Fill a large tumbler or copa glass with ice.
Add the 50ml Soulmate Vodka, lemon juice and raspberry syrup.
Give it a good stir, then add the cloudy lemonade.
Drop in a few fresh raspberries and a sprig of mint, then garnish with a slice of lemon.
Give it a final gentle stir and enjoy.
Making cocktails for a crowd?
The secret to a great garden party cocktail is preparation. Rather than playing bartender all afternoon, prepare your cocktail bases in advance and keep them chilled. Then, when your guests arrive, all you need to do is add ice, top with tonic or lemonade and garnish.
